Can I place spoofed international calls with SpoofApp?

Yes! SpoofApp, in conjunction with SpoofCard, now offers international calling! However, the spoofed Caller ID you choose may not be displayed properly in countries where the Caller ID technology used is incompatible with the Caller ID signaling system used in North America.

How do I configure my APN settings on my BlackBerry?

Some BlackBerrys require you to configure your providers APN settings in order to allow 3rd party applications access to the internet. It's simple to add these settings and once you do, if you run into any problems, you will be able to use SpoofApp.

I lost or never received my PIN. Can you help?

If you did not receive an email, double check your SPAM/JUNK folder. Lots of email providers, such as Yahoo and Hotmail, may improperly flag the email as spam or junk. If that does not work, you can try contacting us.

I'm having a problem making a call. What should I do?

If you are having trouble making a call please double check the following things:

1.) Your phone number is entered correctly in the Settings/Account menu in SpoofApp.

2.) The phone number you are calling is formatted correctly.

3.) Your phone has an active internet connection.

4.) You have the latest version of SpoofApp.

What number will show up on the phone bill of the person I spoof?

The spoofed number that you choose from the Caller ID will show up on the persons phone bill. The person won't ever see your real phone number!

How do I download recordings to my computer?

Visit SpoofCard.com and login with your PIN number. Once logged in, click the Call History tab to see a list of your calls and recordings. From here just click the download link to download your recording.

Does SpoofApp work on jailbroken iPod Touches?

Absolutely! When you install SpoofApp you're required to enter a phone number. For iPod Touch users, simply enter your cell phone or home phone number that you will be making the call from. When you initiate a call with SpoofApp, you will receive a call back at this phone number. When you answer the call, you will then be connected to the number you entered to call.

I got a PIN not authorized error but my PIN is valid. What's going on?

If you accidentally signed up for a free sample PIN and entered the wrong phone number you will get an error saying your PIN was registered to another phone number and is not authorized. Please contact us with your correct phone number and we'll send you a working PIN.

Is SpoofCard legal?

Yes. Each of the capabilities of SpoofCard is legal in the US. However, certain uses may be illegal depending on which state you are calling to or from. For example, a handful of states have passed laws that make it illegal to spoof caller ID for certain purposes, such as "to mislead, defraud or deceive the recipient of a telephone call." Before using the spoofing capability of SpoofCard, you should determine whether, given the reason that you want to use the service, its use would be legal in the state where you are calling from and the state where the party you are calling is located. In addition, it is illegal under the law of numerous states to record a telephone call without informing the other party that the call is being recorded. Before using the recording capability of SpoofCard, you should determine whether it is legal in the state where you are calling from and the state where the party you are calling is located to record the call without informing the called party. If you do not know whether such recording is legal in both states, you should protect yourself from possible state criminal prosecution by informing the other party that you are recording the conversation. SpoofCard cannot monitor conversations to determine whether they are being legally spoofed or recorded.
